Our founder, Vincent Boily, is a Paralympic hopeful and a member of the parasport community. He is familiar with the common struggles of an athlete and understands the difficulty of funding himself while training for a sport. He covers all his own expenses on his way to the Paralympics.

Did you know that Canada’s Paralympians are not paid to stand on the podium, unlike their Olympic counterparts.

“In Canada, Olympians earn $20,000 for gold, $15,000 for silver and $10,000 for bronze,” even though they have to put in the same amount of work.

This is an injustice that is not fair to athletes with a disability: we must work together to eliminate it in the name of equality and equal representation.

Fortunately, we have seen an awareness of this issue in the sector, but Paralympic athletes still do not get the recognition they deserve. There is still much to be done to empower them and to elevate them to the same level of representation and funding as regular professional athletes. We want to be a part of that change and be at the forefront of the development of the Paralympic community.
